CAK5K on the Runway 2026

CAK5K on the Runway takes place October 4, 2026, in Green, Ohio, at the MAPS Air Museum with start and finish on an actual runway at the Ohio Air Guard Facility. The event offers a 5K race, a 0.5-mile race, a 0.25-mile race, and a virtual event option. The 5K includes the Afterburner Zone, a 100-meter race positioned after the 2.2-mile mark. Awards for the 5K go to the top 5 men and women overall, top finishers in master (40–49), grand master (50–59), and senior (60+) categories, and top 3 finishers in age groups spanning from 1–14 through 80+. The Afterburner Zone awards top 3 finishers in the same age group divisions. Finishers receive medals, and the race includes food, beverages, and a post-race party. Military discounts are available.
