The race.
The Cameron Ponder Cycling Classic takes place on October 3, 2026, in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, featuring four distance options: 109.54 miles, 109.54 kilometers, 29.54 miles, and 9.54 miles. Proceeds benefit the KSP Trooper Ponder Memorial Scholarship, with $9.54 from each registration donated to the fund. Riders will travel rural roads of Central Kentucky with KSP escort from the starting location in Elizabethtown. T-shirts are included with registrations received by August 15, 2026; registrations after August 16 receive shirts and swag based on availability. Support stations staffed by first responders, their families, and local civic organizations serve participants along the course.
