Cantigny 5K Run/Walk 2026 - Benefiting The Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans

This 5K run/walk benefits the Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans and takes place October 17, 2026, at Cantigny in Wheaton, Illinois. The chip-timed course runs through the Cantigny estate grounds, passing the gardens, Robert R. McCormick House, and First Division Museum. Water stations are located at the halfway point and finish line. Registration opens at $20 through July 1, increasing to $45 for race-day registration. Packet pickup occurs Friday October 16 from 11 am to 7 pm and Saturday October 17 from 7 am to 8:45 am at the Visitors Center. The 5K starts at 9 am Saturday, with an awards ceremony at 10 am for the top three male and female finishers. Free parking is available for registered participants.
