The race.
The Cape Fear Youth Triathlon Team hosts a kids triathlon on August 23, 2026, at Earl Jackson Pool in downtown Wilmington, North Carolina. Two age divisions compete on a flat course: participants aged 7–12 complete a 150-yard swim, 2.6-mile bike, and 1-mile run, while those aged 13–18 swim 250 yards, bike 4 miles, and run 2 miles.
