Cartersville 10K and 5K 2026

The race.

Wire2Wire Running hosts the 47th Annual Cartersville 10K and 5K on October 24, 2026, at Dellinger Park in Cartersville, Georgia. Both races feature USATF-certified courses with the 5K starting at 8:00 a.m. and the 10K at 9:20 a.m. The 10K begins on a 400-meter track, loops near Cartersville Middle School and along country roads by the Etowah Indian Mounds, then returns to finish on the track. The 5K starts at the park's main entrance, follows the larger loop around the mounds, and finishes with one lap on the track. Pre-race packet pickup occurs Friday, October 23, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Big Peach Running Company in Cartersville. Both distances award medals to top finishers in age groups, masters categories, and overall divisions, plus wheelchair divisions. Race proceeds benefit Shoes4Kids, a local program providing shoes to children in north Georgia's running community.
