Cary Greenways Tour 2026

The race.

The Cary Greenways Tour takes place October 4, 2026, in Cary, NC, offering half-marathon, 10K, and 5K options on courses in Fred G. Bond Metro Park and the White Oak Greenway. All races start at 7:30 AM with staggered timing by distance; the course closes at 11:00 AM. Participants in the 5K, 10K, and half-marathon receive a race shirt and finisher medal (guaranteed for those registered by September 20). The event benefits Cary's Play It Forward Program, a Parks and Recreation scholarship initiative for youth sports. Racers can compete in-person or virtually across multiple age groups and overall categories, with awards for top finishers and new course record holders who receive a $10 gift code.
