About the race
The race.
The CASA Superhero Run takes place on October 25, 2025, at The Park at River Walk in Bakersfield, CA. Participants can choose from a 2K untimed fun run, a 5K officially timed race, or a 10K officially timed race, with a separate 2K for children 12 and under. Race day begins with registration at 7:00 AM, followed by the 10K start at 8:00 AM, 5K start at 8:15 AM, and 2K kids' fun run at 8:30 AM. All finishers receive a CASA Superhero medal, race t-shirt, and swag bag. The event includes a costume contest, raffle prizes, and an awards ceremony scheduled for 10:30 AM. Proceeds support CASA's advocacy for children in foster care in Kern County.
