The race.

The Cathy Fischer Memorial Walk and Run takes place on July 12, 2026, in North Olmsted, Ohio, benefiting Blood Cancer United. Participants can choose between a 5K (3.1 miles) or 1-mile distance, both starting at 8:30 a.m. The 5K features chip timing and age group awards through age 90+, while the 1-mile walk/run is untimed. All participants receive a commemorative cap and custom silicone bracelet; post-race refreshments are provided. Early packet pickup is available July 10 from noon to 4 p.m. at The Gathering Place in Westlake. Registration deadlines are April 14 for early bird pricing, July 11 for standard pricing, or race day registration available for an additional fee.
