The race.
The Cedar Flats Trail Trot is a 10-kilometer trail race organized by Gateway to Glacier Trails, a nonprofit focused on trail building and maintenance. The race takes place on August 15, 2026, starting at the Cedar Ridge Trailhead near Columbia Falls, Montana, and follows a loop through the Cedar Flats Trail system in Flathead National Forest. Runners will gain 791 feet of elevation over the 6.2-mile course. Registration costs $40 through July 3, then increases to $50; all proceeds support Gateway to Glacier Trails. Participant numbers are limited.
