The race.
The Celtic Warrior Run is a chip-timed 5K held on May 2, 2026, at the Wise County Fairgrounds in Decatur, Texas. The race starts and finishes at the Reunion Grounds, following a course along creek road. Race day registration opens at 7 a.m. with the race beginning at 8:30 a.m. An aid station is positioned at the midway point, and refreshments are available at the finish line. Awards go to the top three finishers in each age group, plus the first-place male and female overall finishers. The event welcomes runners and walkers of all ages, including those with strollers and leashed dogs.
