Stride to Serve volunteering events combine service with physical activity and no pressure social connection. Do good, have fun with others and get some exercise! Please be sure to register on our website (www.stridetoserve.com)!

What we will do:

We'll spend the first 90 minutes of the evening caring for Chanhassen Pioneer Cemetery, trimming, raking, cleaning, and adding a little beauty to a place that deserves it.

Meet & Quick Welcome: Brief introduction to the day’s plan. Serve Together: We’ll partner with Chanhassen Pioneer Cemetery to trim, rake and clean. Activity - After we’ll reconvene for a brief intro to the run/walk and warm-up. Run, jog, or walk at your own pace on a half mile-ish out and back for about 30 minutes. Connect: If you’d like, take some time to relax, meet people, play some easy, casual games and celebrate a job well done.

What to Bring

Please bring a few simple things to make the event easier and safer:

Work gloves (if you have them) Rakes or other light yard tools (if you have them) Running or walking shoes for the run and appropriate work shoes or boots for the service activity Long pants might be nice if it's buggy Water bottle
