The race.
Checkers A.C. hosts its 6th Annual Christmas 3k Race on December 6, 2026, in Buffalo, NY. The 1.86-mile race follows one loop of Delaware Park's Ring Road, starting at the Indian Hunter Statue on the southern side. Overall and Masters category winners receive trophies, and medals are awarded three deep in five-year age groups from 14 and under through 90 plus. A "Shirt No Race" option is also available. Post-race refreshments will be held at Bob and John's La Hacienda, 1545 Hertel Ave, Buffalo, NY.
