The race.
Choice City Running Festival takes place August 7–8, 2026, in Fort Collins, CO. On Friday, the Jane Welzel Mountain Ave Mile is a point-to-point downhill race on Mountain Avenue with multiple waves including kids, youth, open, masters, and elite categories. Saturday features the Human Race with a half marathon starting at 6:30 a.m., 10K at 7:15 a.m., and 5K at 7:30 a.m. Bundle options combining the mountain mile with the 5K, 10K, or half marathon are available.
