The race.
CIA Central Indiana Adventure Race takes place in Cloverdale, Indiana on October 3, 2026. Teams of 2–3 participants (soloists also welcome) navigate using map and compass across foot, bicycle, and canoe segments while attempting to reach the most checkpoints before the cutoff time. Two formats are offered: a full 12-hour competition and a 4-hour beginner-oriented option with simplified navigation, a shorter gear list, and no map plotting required. Winners are determined by the highest number of checkpoints reached within the time limit.
