Circle the Lake Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K 2026

The race.

Circle the Lake hosts a half marathon, 10K, and 5K on September 19, 2026, in Faribault, Minnesota, with all proceeds supporting lake water quality improvement projects. The races start and finish at the historic Millersburg School House and follow a mixed-terrain route of paved and dirt roads around Circle Lake, featuring rolling hills. All participants receive chip timing, mile markers, and water and sports drink stations throughout the courses. Registrants before August 2 receive a commemorative t-shirt; all finishers earn medals, with separate awards for male and female winners in each distance. The 10K and half marathon begin at 8:30 a.m., and the 5K begins at 8:35 a.m., with same-day registration available from 7:00 to 8:15 a.m. A complimentary drink is offered to finishers at the Boonies Grill, located at the race venue.
