About the race
The race.
The Cirque Series races in Alta on August 15, 2026, feature three distances: 7.1 miles with 2,545 feet of elevation gain, 7.3 miles, and 10K. Competition is organized into three categories—Sport, Expert, and Pro—with cash prizes for Pro placements and gear prizes for Expert and Sport finishers at each race. Additional awards recognize the youngest competitor, oldest competitor, race MVP, and middle-of-pack finisher. Registration is capped at 500 entries. Hydration stations and finish-line refreshments are provided. Races also award PEAK FREAK belt buckles to overall season winners and to anyone completing all six 2026 Cirque Series events.
