City of Westlake Community Run 2026

The race.

The City of Westlake Community Run takes place September 12, 2026, in Westlake, OH, featuring a 5K run/walk (chip-timed), a 1-mile untimed walk, and a kids dash for children 8 and under. The 5K and speed walk begin at 8:30 a.m., with the kids dash starting at 8:15 a.m., and packet pickup opening at 7:30 a.m. at the Westlake Recreation Center, 28955 Hilliard Blvd. Registration costs $35 for the 5K and $25 for the 1-mile walk; children 5 and under are free. The first 200 registered receive event goodie bags, race shirts are guaranteed for those registered by August 31, and all kids dash participants receive medals. Post-race offerings include refreshments, a pancake breakfast (included with paid registration, with free admission for children 5 and under), raffle prizes, and awards presentation. Mailed entries must arrive by September 9.
