The race.
Cobb County's Make-A-Wish 5K takes place on October 3, 2026, in Marietta, Georgia, with all proceeds benefiting Make-A-Wish Georgia. The event includes a 5-kilometer race, a 1-kilometer race for children ages 4–11, and Phantom Runner options. The races begin on Marietta Square with a wheelchair start at 7:40 a.m., the 1K at 7:45 a.m., and the 5K at 8:15 a.m.; walk-up registration opens at 6:30 a.m. and closes at 7:30 a.m. Packet pickup is available Thursday, October 1st from 3–7 p.m. at Big Peach Running Co. on Johnson Ferry Road, or Friday, October 2nd from 3–7 p.m. at Al Bishop Softball Complex. This race qualifies for the Peachtree Road Race.
