The race.
The Colonel Cross Country 3200m takes place October 3, 2026, at Nicholls Farm in Thibodaux, Louisiana, as part of the Nicholls XC Invitational. The event features three race distances: 3200m, 1K, and 5K. The 3200m course covers low-mowed grass and dirt road sections. Awards include overall prizes for top men's and women's finishers, as well as top masters men's and women's finishers; age group medals are awarded if entries exceed 50 participants. Post-race refreshments are provided. Nicholls students race free through their student organization's registration process, with separate awards for top male, female, and nonbinary Nicholls student finishers.
