Colorado Run for the Fallen Run/Walk/Ruck 2026

The race.

On September 13, 2026, the Colorado Run for the Fallen takes place at Palmer Lake Regional Recreation Area in Palmer Lake, CO. Participants can choose a 5K or 1-mile distance and run, walk, or ruck at their own pace over up to six hours in an untimed format. The event honors Colorado military service members who died in the Global War on Terror, with each mile dedicated to an individual fallen service member whose name, rank, and date of loss are read aloud during the event. All participants receive an event t-shirt, and an aid station provides water, electrolytes, and snacks. The event welcomes solo participants and teams of all ages and fitness levels, with free registration for Gold Star families. Proceeds benefit Honor and Remember's mission of supporting Colorado military families.
