The Colors for Hope 5K takes place on July 25, 2026, in Montague, Michigan, as a 5K run and walk benefiting the Ava VanderStelt Scholarship Fund, which supports mental health education and suicide prevention programs in local schools. Race day begins at 8:30 a.m. with a color toss at 8:45 a.m., followed by the 5K start at 9:00 a.m., with an estimated awards ceremony at 10:30 a.m. Age group categories span from 8 and under through 71 and older, with awards presented to the top three male and female finishers in each category.
