Columbus Botanical Gardens 5K 2026

The race.

The Columbus Roadrunners present a 5K run/walk on Saturday, May 2, 2026, starting at 8 a.m. at Columbus Botanical Gardens, 3603 Weems Road, Columbus, GA. The course travels through trails around Lake Heath and the gardens' own trail system. Registration costs $30 through April 17, $35 from April 18–30, $35 on May 1, and $40 on race day (6:45–7:45 a.m. onsite). Packet pickup occurs Friday, May 1, noon–6 p.m. at Big Dog Running Co., 12 11th Street, or Saturday morning at the gardens. The first 325 finishers receive a medal; commemorative shirts are guaranteed for registrants by April 17. Awards are given for overall top three, Masters category, age groups (under 14, 15–19, then 10-year increments to 70+), and male/female divisions within each category. Proceeds benefit Columbus Botanical Gardens.
