Comlara 12 Hour Sunrise-Sunset, 6 Hour, 3 Hour and Hour of Power Trail Run 2026

The race.

The Comlara 12 Hour Sunrise-Sunset, 6 Hour, 3 Hour and Hour of Power Trail Run takes place August 22, 2026, in Hudson, IL. Four timed running options are offered: a 12-hour event (51 miles maximum), a 6-hour event (25.5 miles maximum), a 3-hour event (12.75 miles maximum), and a 1-hour event (4.25 miles). The 12-hour and 6-hour races use a format where runners complete a loop each hour; those who finish before the hour ends may rest until the next hour begins, and runners who don't return by the hour mark are finished for the day. The 3-hour event starts at 9:00 AM, and the 1-hour event begins on the hour throughout the day with registration available until 6:00 PM. A leisure option allows unlimited loops over 12 hours at individual pace. Packet pickup is Friday 5–7 PM. Overall male and female awards are given for timed events; 1-hour participants receive no awards. Partial proceeds benefit Comlara Parks.
