The race.
The Coombs/Douglass Memorial Bay Run takes place on Saturday, August 1, 2026, in Lower Township, NJ, featuring a certified 5-mile run and a 2-mile run/walk, both along the Delaware Bay. The 5-mile course has a 75-minute time limit and is certified as course NJ15003LMB. Both races begin at 8:30 AM from Town Bank Fire Hall, with race day registration opening at 7:00 AM. Registration costs $30 in advance or $35 on race day. Finishers receive a free t-shirt (while supplies last), and 5-year age group medals are awarded for the top three places in each group. Special recognition goes to the first firefighter and first law enforcement finisher in the 5-mile run. A post-race breakfast is included. Proceeds benefit the Special Olympics of South Jersey.
