Corryton Possum Chase 8-Miler, 4-Miler, and 2-Miler Races 2026

The race.

The Corryton Possum Chase offers three running distances—8 miles, 4 miles, and 2 miles—on October 24, 2026, in Corryton, TN. Races start at 8:30 AM (8-mile), 8:40 AM (4-mile), and 8:50 AM (2-mile) on an out-and-back course along Corryton-Luttrell Road, all USATF-certified. Registration and packet pickup occur race morning from 7:00 to 8:15 AM (8-mile), 7:00 to 8:25 AM (4-mile), and 7:00 to 8:35 AM (2-mile). All finishers receive chip-timed bibs, participation medals, and event t-shirts (50/50 blend). Age group awards three-deep by gender in multiple divisions; overall top-three finishers also receive awards. Team plaques are awarded for fastest teams and, across all distances combined, most participants. Proceeds benefit the Corryton Community Club and Corryton Hospitality Food Pantry. Walkers are welcome on the 2-mile and 4-mile courses only.
