Cowboy Capital 5K & 1M Fun Run 2026

The race.

The Cowboy Capital 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run takes place September 26, 2026, in Stephenville, TX, with events starting at Stephenville City Park near the Rec Center playground. The 5K begins at 7:30 a.m., followed by the 1-mile fun run approximately five minutes after the last 5K participant starts. Walk-up registration runs from 6:30 to 7:15 a.m. race morning. Guaranteed race t-shirts are provided to those registered by September 3. Age-group awards include trophy belt buckles for top male and female finishers in the 5K across divisions from ages 6 through 70 and over, and ribbons awarded to all 1-mile finishers. Registration fees are $35 for the 5K and $25 for the 1-mile event through September 3, increasing to $40 and $30 respectively after that date.
