The race.
The Crooked Loops Trail Run takes place October 10, 2026, at Independence Oaks in Clarkston, MI. Participants may choose from three distances: a 2.5-mile loop around Crooked Lake with rolling hills, a 5.5-mile route that adds a second lap and includes Rock Ridge Trail, or an 8.5-mile race featuring three laps plus Spring Lake Trail. All races start and finish at the same location on wood chip trails through hardwood forest.
