Cupcake Run/Walk for Public Education 2026

The race.

The Cupcake Run/Walk for Public Education takes place September 20, 2026, in West Lafayette, Indiana, offering 5K and 10K distances plus an 80-yard option. Participants can choose between heather indigo or heather oatmeal shirt colors, with volunteers receiving heather cardinal shirts. Race packets are available for pickup on Saturday, September 19, from 9:00 a.m. to noon at Mary Lou Donuts (4150 Commerce Drive, Lafayette, Indiana 47905). Teams of ten or more can select a school to sponsor and receive $100 in recess and physical education equipment funding per team. Teachers who register and indicate their school compete in a fastest teacher contest for the 5K and 10K with prizes awarded to top male and female finishers in each distance. Proceeds benefit the Public Schools Foundation of Tippecanoe County.
