Day of the Dead Half Marathon - Waco 2026

The Day of the Dead Half Marathon takes place October 11, 2026, in Waco, Texas, starting at Indian Springs Park at 8 a.m. Five race distances are offered: a 20-yard Kids Dash for ages 10 and under, a 1-mile event, a 3.11-mile race, a 6.55-mile race, and the full 13.1-mile half marathon. All finishers receive medals and t-shirts. A costume contest precedes the race, with the winner receiving the Day of the Dead Best Costume Award and prize package. Post-race festivities at the rally tent include live music, Mexican food and drinks, snacks, and live awards announcements. Aid stations are positioned along the course.
