The race.
The Dayton HYROX Half Sim takes place on August 15, 2026, in Springboro, Ohio. This 4K event combines 500-meter runs with functional fitness stations including ski erg, sled push and pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, and wall balls—each performed at half the distance or repetitions of a standard HYROX race. Athletes compete as singles or doubles, with each participant registering individually. Wave starts occur every 10 minutes, with specific start times emailed one week prior to the event. All finishers receive a HYROX Finisher Patch. Spectators are welcome at no charge.
