Death by 5k Brandon 2026

The race.

Death by 5K Brandon challenges runners to complete ten 5K races over 24 hours on August 22, 2026, in Brandon, Mississippi. The first race begins at 8 a.m., with subsequent races starting every 2.5 hours at 10:30 a.m., 1 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 6 p.m., 8:30 p.m., 11 p.m., 1:30 a.m., 4 a.m., and 6:30 a.m., with all races finishing by 8 a.m. on Sunday. All races use the same course, starting and finishing at the RunStrong Training Center. Participants receive a race shirt and finisher's coffin, along with five hot meals served at designated times and snacks throughout the event. Runners may rest between races in vehicles, tents on the green space, or at home if nearby. Registration is limited to 75 participants initially, with additional registrants placed on a waitlist.
