The race.

Death by 5k Tulsa is a 24-hour running challenge held on September 19, 2026, at River West 23rd Street Park in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Participants complete ten 5-kilometer loops on a paved river trail, with races starting at 8:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 6:00 p.m., 8:30 p.m., 11:00 p.m., 1:30 a.m., 4:00 a.m., and 6:30 a.m., each beginning 2.5 hours apart. The course includes two river crossings. Participants may rest between races in vehicles or tents at the park. Prepared meals are served at designated times, with snacks, water, and Gatorade available throughout. All participants receive an event shirt and additional swag; finishers earn a coffin award. Registration is limited to 300 participants, with a waitlist available.
