The race.
Death by 5k Tyler is a 24-hour running challenge held October 17, 2026, at Tyler State Park in Tyler, TX. Participants complete ten 5K loops on dirt trails starting at 8 a.m. and continuing every 2.5 hours, with each loop required to finish before the next begins. Camping is available at the event headquarters, and food and drinks are provided throughout the event.
