About the race
The race.
The Delaware Dash for Rare takes place on October 4, 2026, in Wilmington, DE, featuring a 5K run/walk and a 1-mile walk. On-site registration and packet pickup begin at 7:30 AM, with the 5K starting at 9:00 AM and awards/raffle following at 10:00 AM. Brunch and live music are included with registration at 10:30 AM. Participants who register by September 3rd are guaranteed race shirts. All proceeds benefit the National MPS Society. Virtual participation is also available, allowing runners to complete the 5K at any time before October 4th at a location of their choice.
