The race.
Join the Dia de los Muertos 5K Run and 1-mile Walk on October 31st, 2026, in El Paso, Texas, hosted by Socorro ISD and Aetna Health. The event takes place at Socorro ISD Student Activities Complex at 1300 Joe Battle Boulevard. Online registration closes October 30th at noon, with in-person registration available day-of from 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. Participant check-in runs from 7:20 to 8:15 a.m., with a five-minute warm-up at 8:15 a.m. and the run/walk beginning at 8:30 a.m. This is a non-competitive event, and a health expo runs concurrently from 8:30 to 11:00 a.m.
