The race.
Diamond Mountain Triathlon takes place on September 20, 2026, at Lake Welch Beach in Stony Point, NY, with a midday start at 12:00 PM. The triathlon course includes a 0.5-mile swim in Lake Welch, a 15-mile bike loop around Harriman State Park, and a 2-mile run. A duathlon option features two 2-mile runs with the same 15-mile bike loop. All finishers receive medals; top-3 finishers in each gender and race distance earn additional awards, with overall triathlon winners receiving a championship suit. Free parking, restrooms, and water are available at the venue. Registration closes 20 minutes before the start, with online registration recommended.
