About the race
The race.
The Dirt Cheap Stage Race is a three-day trail running stage race held November 13–15, 2026, in Mendon, NY. Stage 1 takes place Friday, November 13, at 5:00–6:00 pm with a 3-mile run starting at Pond Road (headlamps required for participants racing in darkness). Stage 2 occurs Saturday, November 14, at 10:00 am featuring a 5.5-mile run starting at Devils Bathtub with a stair climb finish. Stage 3 runs Sunday, November 15, at 8:00 am for an 11-mile course, with an optional early start at 7:00 am available based on Friday's race results. All finishers receive a hoodie; the first 200 registrants receive a custom mug. Post-race food is provided after each stage. Hoodie sizing is guaranteed for registrations completed by October 25, 2026.
