Discover Whitewater Series 2026

The race.

The Discover Whitewater Series takes place on September 20, 2026, in Whitewater, Wisconsin, featuring a half-marathon (13.1 miles), a 5K (3.1 miles), and a kids' race (1 mile). The half-marathon follows a gently rolling northern route, while the 5K runs south of campus with a scenic bike path section and bridge crossing, with both races finishing on the field at Perkins Football Stadium. Packet pickup occurs at UW-Whitewater DLK Gymnasium on Friday, September 18 from 4–6:30 p.m. or Sunday, September 20 from 6–10:30 a.m., including bibs, pins, and event shirts for those who registered by September 1. All half-marathon and 5K finishers receive medals, and top finishers earn age group awards; overall winners receive purse prizes up to $400 for the half-marathon and 5K. Proceeds benefit local charities through the Greater Whitewater Committee, Inc. Online registration is available through race day, with team registration closing September 16.
