Distant Area Vol Fire Dept PB Festival 5K Race/Fun Walk and Half Marathon 2026

The race.

On September 19, 2026, the Distant Area Volunteer Fire Department hosts a 5K race/fun walk and half marathon in New Bethlehem, PA. The 5K covers 3.1 miles on a level Rails to Trails course. The half marathon spans 13.1 miles through hilly terrain, crossing Red Bank Creek twice and passing through a rail trail tunnel. Both events start and finish at the South Bethlehem Borough Building and are timed by Gingerbread Timing.
