DMACC 5K Walk/Run and Kids Fun Run 2026

The race.

The DMACC 5K Walk/Run takes place on September 26, 2026, in Ankeny, Iowa, with proceeds supporting the DMACC Foundation. The certified 5K course is open to the public, and strollers and leashed dogs are welcome. All 5K registrants receive a dri-fit Brooks shirt, medal, registrant bag, warm breakfast burrito, and breakfast snacks; shirt guarantees require registration by September 14, with all items guaranteed through September 21. Packet pickup occurs Friday, September 25, from noon to 6 p.m. at Trail Point Aquatics and Wellness Center, Building #5, or Saturday morning from 7 to 7:30 a.m. at Parking Lot L2. A separate Kids Fun Run offers 50-yard (ages 3–4) and 100-yard (ages 5–7) distances for $10 per person, with medals and Fun Zone access. Age-group prizes are awarded to top male and female finishers in eight categories for the 5K.
