Doggy Dash 5K 2026

The race.

The 2nd Annual Doggy Dash 5K takes place September 26, 2026, in Dexter, MI, benefiting the Paws4Patients program at Michigan Medicine. The 5K features chipped timing and welcomes participants of all ages, paces, and abilities to walk, run, or jog, with strollers, children, and dogs encouraged to participate. Event t-shirts are provided to the first 100 registrants, donated by Ann Arbor T-Shirt Company; additional shirts purchased by September 20 will be ready at race-day check-in, with proceeds supporting Paws4Patients. Water and bananas are available on course, and post-race refreshments include baked goods, breakfast sandwiches, and dog treats for purchase. Optional packet pickup is available October 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at HOMES Campus in Ann Arbor; race-day registration and check-in are also offered. Hudson Mills Metropark charges a $10 vehicle entry fee unless a valid Metroparks pass is presented.
