Down to Walk 2026

The race.

Down to Walk is a community walk held September 19, 2026, in Sherman, Illinois, benefiting the Lincoln Land Down Syndrome Society. The event supports programs, scholarships, education, advocacy, and services for families affected by Down syndrome. This is an untimed, family-friendly walk where participants proceed at their own pace. The walk features music, activities, and vendors throughout the event. No race shirt is provided with participation.
