The race.
Dragons in the Woods takes place on October 17, 2026, in Holt, MI, featuring a 3.1-mile and 5K trail run through Birchfield Park. Registration costs $25 through October 4, then $30 through October 16, with group pricing available for up to four participants. Race shirts are guaranteed for early registrants through October 8. Awards include trophies for overall and masters (40+) winners by gender, plus pint glasses for top three finishers in each age group spanning ages 12 and under through 61 and over. Packet pickup begins at 8:00 a.m. race day. All proceeds benefit Island City Academy.
