About the race
The race.
The Driathlon is held on September 20, 2026, in Bay City, Michigan, organized by the Bay City Morning Rotary Club. Participants choose between a Team/Relay Division or an Individual Kayak Division. The Team/Relay Division consists of a 5K canoe paddle (canoe provided), 20K bike, and 5K run, completed by two-person teams or relays. In team format, both partners participate in all three events; in relay format, both partners paddle and bike, with one partner running, or one person may complete both biking and running. The Individual Kayak Division includes a 5K paddle (choice of personal kayak or provided equipment), 20K bike, and 5K run for solo participants. Age categories in the Team/Relay Division are determined by combined age of both partners.
