The race.

The Dusk to Dawn Relay + Ultra 2026 takes place on September 4, 2026, in Wendover, Utah, on the Bonneville Salt Flats. Participants run a flat 2-mile loop throughout the night from dusk to dawn, approximately 11 hours, on the salt surface. The 50-mile ultra event welcomes solo runners and relay teams of 4, 6, or 8 members, with the goal of completing as many miles as possible before sunrise. Teams compete for trophies in their respective categories. All laps must be completed by sunrise to count toward final mileage. Non-runner supporters can purchase Party Supporter wristbands to attend. The event features all-night activities including a scavenger hunt and astronomy tours, giveaway prizes, and concludes with a pancake breakfast for charity.
