Eagle in the Sun Triathlon 2026

The race.

Eagle in the Sun Triathlon takes place September 20, 2026, in El Paso, TX. The sprint triathlon features a 400-meter pool swim, 12-mile out-and-back bike on Border Highway, and 3-mile run on Playa Drain Trail. Individual, aquabike, bike-run, and relay formats (2-person and 3-person) are available, along with a 3-mile run/walk option and Eagle Kids Splash & Dash for ages 6–13 (100-meter swim plus 1K run). All finishers receive medals; the first 600 participants get race shirts, athlete bags, water bottles, and swim caps. Packet pickup occurs Friday, September 18 (4–7 p.m.) and Saturday, September 19 (10 a.m.–1 p.m.) at locations listed on the race website, requiring photo ID and USAT membership card.
