About the race

The race.

The East Shore 5K takes place July 5, 2026, at East Shore Park in New Haven, Connecticut. Participants can run or walk the 5K distance on a flat waterfront course. Race-day registration opens at 8:30 a.m. near the pickleball courts at 350 Woodward Avenue. Division medals are awarded to all age groups, with cash prizes for top male and female finishers in first and second place. Proceeds benefit Our Nations Promise, an organization supporting families of fallen service members. Water stations are positioned along the course, and volunteers mark and monitor the route.
