About the race
The race.
The Edgewood Dollars for Scholars 5K takes place on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Edgewood Intermediate School in Ellettsville, Indiana. Registration opens at 7:00 AM with the 5K run/walk beginning at 8:30 AM. Age groups span from 0–13 through 70+, with awards given to top male and female finishers in each category as well as overall winners in runner and walker divisions. Door prizes are drawn following the race. Proceeds benefit Edgewood High School Dollars for Scholars, a 501(c)(3) organization that funds scholarships for Edgewood High School seniors.
