About the race
The race.
The Eastern Dutchess Road Runners Club hosts the 8th Annual Schaghticoke 8.5 Miler on Sunday, November 15th, 2026, starting at 9:00 AM from the Schaghticoke Tribal Nation Pavilion in Kent, Connecticut. The 8.5-mile course has a 2.5-hour cutoff. Packet pickup begins at 8:00 AM on race day. Registration closes October 26th, with fees of $30 for non-members and $25 for members; race day registration is unavailable, and participation is capped at 100 runners. Finisher medals are guaranteed for those registered by November 2nd. Overall awards are given to the top male, female, and non-binary finishers. Net proceeds benefit the Schaghticoke Tribal Nation Scholarship Fund.
