About the race
The race.
Eastern Dutchess Road Runners Club presents Ryan's Run on October 17, 2026, at Lakeside Park in Pawling, NY. Participants can choose between a 3.1-mile Superhero 5K (one loop) or 6.2-mile Villain 10K (two loops), both on a course through the town and village of Pawling. A free 1-mile Kids Fun Run for ages 10 and under starts at 9:30 a.m., with the 5K and 10K beginning at 10:00 a.m. Finisher medals are awarded to 5K and 10K participants who register by October 13. Age group awards span from under 9 to 70+, plus overall male, female, and non-binary winners. All kids fun run participants receive small awards. Race proceeds benefit the Ryan McElroy Foundation.
